Hi Ali, this is such wonderful compliment! I'm so glad they worked well with the gluten-free alternatives. Thank you for sharing your experience. :)

I've made this a few times and it always comes out great! I've used gluten free panko crumbs and an alt flour for a friend with a gluten intolerance, and they were just as delicious. These are an awesome party appetizer, very retro - you'll be the star of the soiree for sure :)

Hi Lisa, I'm so happy you'll try it. The recipe yields about 20 meatballs. Have a nice time at the baby shower. :)

Sounds so delicious, my mouth is watering! I’m making this for a baby shower. About how many meatballs does it make?

They are a bit more fragile than Beyond, so I would only cook them a few minutes in the sauce. I would probably fry them in a pan first to get a nice crust on them and then finish them in the oven. They should hold up better that way. :)

Hi Amy, thanks for making the recipe. Did you make the meatballs with the Beyond Meat or my meatball recipe?

Hi! I made your vegan meatballs and froze them raw (no sauce yet). I plan to finish the recipe by cooking them (maybe in the oven or frying them?) and then placing them in the sauce to meld the flavors. Do you have any recommendations for me before I proceed? Thanks so much!

I'm so happy you loved the recipe, Denise! Soy milk will work nicely for the gravy. Thank you for giving it a try and sharing feedback. :)

Loved them. My spouse who is a real meat person loves Swedish Meatballs and he liked them as well. I used soy milk for the meatballs as I did not have my can of coconut milk handy, and the meatballs were delicious and moist. I used the coconut milk for the gravy and it was good but almost a tad to sweet with a hint of coconut in the background. Next time I will use soy milk for the gravy. It did not prevent me from enjoying them.
