Start your morning off right with this Strawberries and Cream Smoothie. It’s naturally sweetened and packed with nutrients. It takes just five minutes to make too.
When my mornings get busy, I don’t have time to make a sit-down vegan breakfast, so I up my smoothie game to keep me going. They keep me nourished and satisfied until lunch.
Smoothies are fun and delicious! You can have a different one every day, so you’ll never get bored. This week I made my Piña Colada Smoothie, Green Monster, Apple Pie Smoothie, and this dreamy Strawberries and Cream Smoothie.
How do I make a Fruit Smoothie?
It’s really easy once, you have your base ingredients and you can add from there to amp things up. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
Add your liquid of choice to a High-Powered Blender. You can use water, non-dairy yogurt, or any plant-based milk.
Choose your favorite fruit and throw it into the blender. Fresh or frozen will work, you’ll just need ice if you choose fresh.
*Optional: Amp things up with things like flaxseed, chia seeds, hemp seeds, nut butter, protein powder, leafy greens, fresh herbs, buckwheat, nuts, seeds, dates, and much more. You may need to add more liquid if your smoothie gets too thick.
Blend it on high until it’s really smooth. Now give it a little taste to see if you need to add anything else. ENJOY!
