Living Earth Beauty Review

posted by Melissa Huggins April 18, 2016 0 comments

Hi guys, I’m really excited to share with you today, my experience with Living Earth Beauty and my review of their products I tried out. Living Earth Beauty is an online store, where you can buy organic, non-toxic, eco-friendly & cruelty-free products. They sell high-quality skin care, body care, makeup, pure essential oils, superfoods, oral care and more.

This is a family owned business, run by Alicia & Ryan, a lovely couple with a passion for health, our earth and for animals. They are spreading the word, that you can let your beauty shine with natural & plant-based ingredients. There’s no need for chemicals or animals testing to keep your skin & body healthy. These are outdated practices and they have a whole store of goodies to prove this.

One thing that caught my eye about Living Earth Beauty, is that they really pay attention to their packaging materials. They are either recycled or made from recyclable materials. Their packing peanuts are made from corn and are 100% biodegradable. Their paper products are 100% tree-free and made from sugar cane. Now this is a company that really cares about our mother earth!

On top of all that, Alicia & Ryan also like to give back. They donate a portion of their profits to the Beagle Freedom Project and World Animal Protection. Two incredible organizations that help so many animals around the world. They also donate to The Nature Conservancywhich helps conserve the lands and waters of our beautiful earth. One other important cause that they donate to is the Campaign For Safe Cosmeticswhich works diligently to bring safer cosmetics into our stores. Living Earth Beauty is a company that I feel good about supporting and they have gained a loyal customer.

I stumbled  across Living Earth Beauty through a google search. I was so impressed with their site & their passion, that I contacted them to see, if they would like me to review some of their products. I was so excited when Alicia emailed me back and offered to send me some beauty care items. She took the time and asked about my skin first and what I was looking for in skin care. The package came two days later, with a handwritten thank you note from Alicia. That really impressed me and I could truly tell, that she cares about all of her customers.

So, let’s see the goodies that I tested out…

ISUN – Phyto-Cleanse III

I really love ISUN Skincare products because they use natural, wildcrafted and organic ingredients. Absolutely zero toxins are included in their line. Their products are made with true concern for our health and the environment. The packaging is top notch and they use recyclable dark violet glass, to preserve and extend the shelf-life of their products.

I was using the Phtyo-Cleanse II and I really loved it. However, since trying the Phyto-Cleanse III, I feel it works even better with my skin type. Alicia with Living Earth Beauty, recommended that I try this cleanser and I’m so happy that I did. My face feels super hydrated and soothed after cleansing my face. I still would recommend the Phyto-Cleanse II, but the III just worked better for me. If you contact Living Earth Beauty, they will let you know what cleanser might work best for you.

The Phtyo-Cleanse III, is creamy, hydrating and cooling to my skin. It contains cucumber distillate, which keeps my skin soothed and radiant. The cucumber makes this cleanser smell heavenly, too! It contains aloe-infused herbs of lavender, chamomile, calendula, rose and hibiscus. These ingredients work together to create balance, hydration and to reduce redness & inflammation. My skin is very happy with this cleanser and it will be staying in my beauty arsenal now.

ISUN – Sapphire Facial Oil

I used to be nervous about putting oil on my skin, because I was prone to breakouts and I thought oil would make it worse. It’s actually quite the opposite and high-quality oil is really healing and nourishing for acne-prone skin. Over stripping the skin of natural oils, only causes an over production of oil. In turn, causing more breakouts. That’s never fun!

This Sapphire Facial Oil is perfect for my sensitive skin. It has an incredible healing herb-infused oil blend, to keep my face nourished and hydrated. Some key essential oils that it contains, are blue chamomile and jasmine. Along with other healing herbs, these ingredients work together to nourish the skin and provide antioxidant power. I like this oil, because it doesn’t feel greasy or thick. It goes on light and absorbs well into my skin. My skin tends to get red here and there, and this oil definitely reduced the redness. My face looks glowy and feels baby-soft.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the smell is intoxicating! This oil contains such a wide list of healing herbs that are creating this beautiful scent, but I feel like the sandalwood oil stands out the most. It has a sweet & woody fragrance that is just heavenly. I can’t stop smelling the bottle right now!

Herb Oil (*Grapeseed Oil, *Life Everlasting, *Green Tea, *Gotu Kola, *Rosemary, Calendula, *Lavender, *Milk Thistle, *Lemon Balm, *Licorice Root, *Roobibos, *Hibiscus, *Rhodiola, *Ginko, *Plantain, *Amla, *Ashwaghanda, *Acai, *Goji Berry, *Horsetail, *Comfrey Leaves, *Comfrey Root, *Rose Petal, *Echinacea, *Ginseng, *Lotus, *Boswellia, *Blue Violet); Fractionated Coconut Oil; *Oleic Sunflower Oil; *Olive Oil; *Aloe Vera Oil, *Passionfruit Oil; *Tamanu Oil; *Carrot Seed Oil; Vitamin E Tocopherols; *Evening Primrose Extract; *Seabuckthorn Berry Extract; *Red Raspberry Seed Oil; *Cranberry Seed Oil; *Rosehip Extract; *Calendula Extract; *Buritii Fruit Oil; *Sandalwood Oil; *Jasmine Sambac Oil; *Bergamot Oil; *Blue Chamomile Oil; *Rosemary Oleoresin.

Living Libations – Soothsayer Serum

This was my first time trying out products from Living Libations. I was completely impressed with the quality of their products and their packaging. No surprises, just pure & natural ingredients. They use high-quality organic ingredients and wildcrafted essential oils. Now that’s potent plant healing power!

Soothsayer Serum can be worn alone as a light-weight moisturizer or it can be used under your favorite moisturizer. I like extra moisture, so I did both. This serum worked fabulously on my face. It quickly absorbed into my skin and left my face feeling soft, hydrated and silky smooth. No greasy feeling at all. The smell is invigorating, too! I look forward to putting in on my face every morning and night. My skin tone looks more even and feels quenched. No redness or blotchiness, just calm, bright and happy skin.

After a few days of use, the serum made my skin-tone brighter and I noticed my red marks start to fade (from previous breakouts). A little goes a long way, so this bottle will last a while. I’m going to keep using it, to see if it will fade the marks even more. There’s lots of healing action in this miracle bottle and I’m diggin’ it!

Sandalwood, frankincense, rose Otto, geranium, turmeric, thyme linalool, carrot seed and organic jojoba.

Organic & wildcrafted

Living Libations – DewDab

DewDab…isn’t that the cutest name? Well, it may be cute but this stuff kicks butt. If you’ve got a zit, DewDab it on and watch that zit shrink. It really calms the redness and inflammation and will heal your skin. I cannot lie and say that a pimple will disappear immediately, but the redness, inflammation and irritation goes does more than 50% over night. By the second day, it is almost completely healed. I love natural medicinal power!

This magical potion is made with pure, undiluted essential oil to help decrease fine lines, cuperose, blemishes, scars & hyper pigmentation. I definitely noticed my red marks fading after 10 days of use. I’m going to keep using it to see if they will completely fade. I have a good feeling about this!

So, this natural zit zapper will be living in my beauty cabinet from now on. It’s powerful, effective and non-toxic. What more can a girl ask for?

Undiluted Essential Oils of Cape Chamomile, Rose Otto, Cypress, Frankincense, Immortelle and Lavender.

Elaa – Dawn Skin Brightening Dew

Next on the list, is Skin Brightening Dew, by Elaa Skincare. This is another company with incredible earth-conscious and non-toxic practices. Their products are packaged in glass that is reusable or recyclable. Gotta love that! Also, they use raw organic ingredients that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. They make their products in small batches to preserve the purity, too. You will only be putting pure and natural ingredients onto your skin. I can really tell that they put a lot of love and thought into their company and I love to support businesses like this. Elaa products will heal, restore and nourish your skin.

This is the perfect serum for people with hyperpigmentation, melasma or uneven skin tone. It can be used as a spot treatment or an overall facial treatment. This serum is light and goes well under your favorite moisturizer. It will help balance your skin tone, with natural fruit alpha hydroxy acids and it contains powerful antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties. Also this beautiful potion helps protects the skin from UV damage. Now, that’s what I’m talking about!

Just like the other serums, (above) this felt wonderful and it absorbed well into my skin. My face just drank it up! It didn’t feel greasy or heavy and it left my skin looking alive. I used just a few drops in the morning and night on my trouble areas. My skin immediately looked calm and after 7 days, I did notice it starting to lighten my red spots. My face felt smoother and looked brighter. The fruit alpha hydroxy acids really work, so much better than any chemical treatment out there (I have tried them in the past). My skin definitely has reduced redness and blotchiness. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for more radiant skin.

Blissoma – Smooth A+ Correcting Serum

Blissoma is another outstanding eco-conscious beauty care line. They create 100% natural, raw, holistic, vegan, earth-friendly & high-quality skin care. I have used many different products from them in the past, and I’ve always been happy with the results. Their products are made in-house and are packed with certified organic botanicals, bioavailable vitamins, essential fatty acids, and skin-soothing seed oils. They truly understand skincare and what different skin types need for healing. They use nature and all of it’s gifts, to create effective skin care that is non-toxic. They are 100% free of petrochemicals, parabens, synthetic colors, fragrances, vegetable emulsifying wax, pthalates, neuropeptides, or other artificial chemicals.

Smooth A+ Correcting Serum is a must-try for anyone who is prone to blemishes or hyper pigmentation (!). This formula has 13 herbs that offer toning, anti-inflammatory & refining power. It’s also made with rose oil and carrot juice, to protect & nourish troubled skin. It targets blemishes and inflammation while helping regenerate skin with flavonoids and beta carotene.

The first time I tried this, I felt like my skin got a little red, but I kept using it to see if it would continue. I’m glad I kept at it, because after day 3, I didn’t notice any redness. My skin felt velvety soft, hydrated and my trouble areas were definitely calmer. It has a light texture and absorbs into the skin. I used this under my moisturizer morning and night. If you have oily skin, you might get away with just using this by itself. It definitely offers hydration. Also, I absolutely love the floraly-citrusy scent from rose, bergamot & frankincense. It’s delicious!
