Hey guys, It’s time to reveal what’s inside the May 2016 Vegan Cuts Beauty Box and I think y’all are going to love it. This is my second Vegan Cuts Box delivery and I’m so happy to try them out again. This box was filled with lots of luxurious beauty products and it did not disappoint!

If you haven’t heard of this subscription before, it’s a monthly vegan beauty box that contains 4-7 full-size and sample size products. The products range from stellar skincare, cosmetics to fragrances and more. The Vegan Cuts team tests out every single product before it reaches you, to make sure everything is top-notch. Everything is vegan, cruelty-free and is mostly organic and natural. This package will come to your door every month for just $22.95 + free shipping. Also, you can cancel at anytime without a hassle. Pretty cool, huh?

These days, there are so many ways to try cruelty-free beauty products, without breaking the bank. Monthly beauty boxes are a great way to do this.

O.k, let’s check out the goodies…

Molly Rose Balms – Exfoliating Body Scrub – Grapefruit Basil – $2

I’m pretty much a body scrub addict, so this delicious smelling concoction immediately sparked my interest. I live in the desert, so my skin can get dry and flaky. Not fun! Exfoliation keeps my skin smooth, soft and silky. I usually exfoliate my body 2-3 times a week to keep it from getting lizard-like. I’m more gentle with my face and exfoliate about once per week.

This is a sample size container of the Grapefruit Body Scrub. It’s the perfect amount of product to see whether you like it or not and I love it! It has a fresh herbal and citrusy scent that is just invigorating. Also, it feels soft and not scratchy at all. It’s gentle yet effective. My skin feels fabulous! This delicious scrub is 100% organic and of course, vegan. The ingredients are pure and simple and totally yummy. I’m diggin’ it and I would buy this again.

Ingredients:
Californian sea salt, plant derived wax (cetearyl alcohol from coconuts), jojoba oil, essential oil blend (white grapefruit, peppermint, basil), sea buckthorn oil, basil.

The Granola Goat – The Amazing Face Serum – $4

I always get super excited when I discover a new facial serum. They are just super healing, hydrating and nourishing and my skin seems to love them. This golden potion really lived up to my expectations, too. It’s a super skin food made up of red raspberry oil, sea buckthorn berry oil, frankincense, helichrysum, lavender, myrrh, rose, and sandalwood essential oils. No fillers, preservatives or nasty chemicals. Just pure goodness from nature. It provides anti-inflammatory benefits, antioxidant power and lots of nourishment for the skin.

Talk about hydration, my skin looked glowy, radiant and felt super soft after a few nights of use. It absorbed nicely into the skin and didn’t leave a greasy film. I used it morning and night, after cleansing and toning. This is just a sample size, but I gather it will last a long time because I just needed a few drops for each application. A little really goes a long way here. I really love the scent of this serum too, which is from the pure blend of essential oils. It’s not overpowering and it has a light floral and herbal scent. It just smells clean and natural. I found another keeper and I would definitely buy this lovely golden potion again.

Terre Mere Cosmetics – Makeup Brush – $34

Another score in this month’s beauty box! I can never get enough cosmetic brushes for my collection. The bristles on this brush are soft, yet sturdy and high quality, and of course cruelty-free. It’s beautifully angled for contouring, highlighting or it can be used for blush or bronzer. It doesn’t fall apart like some brushes. I love the elegant, sleek design and the handle is super comfy. Also, the price of this brush, far exceeds the price of the Vegan Cuts box. Bonus! I love this brush and I’m excited to have it in my collection now.

Medusa’s Makeup – Lip Gloss – Siren – $9

Vegan Cuts subscribers received either a lip gloss, bronzer or blush by Medusa’s Makeup. I received the lip gloss in the Siren color. I was very happy with the color and the consistency of the gloss, It wasnt too thick or heavy. It had a really nice shine to it, too. It has a warm & sheer, pinky hue that I love on my lips. It can be worn alone for a subtle color and shine, or over your favorite lipstick for a more dramatic look. It’s very versatile.

My only complaint is the ingredients aren’t as natural as I would like. I will definitely wear this gloss from time to time, but I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s a shame because it’s vegan and looks great on my lips.

Everclen – Facial Toner – $15

This toner is a full-sized product from Everclen. I already have a few toners that I love, but it’s always nice to try out some more. This toner is fragrance free and felt great on my skin. It was refreshing and hydrating. I love the packaging and the spritzing action, too. It’s sans fragrance, parabens, gluten, phthalates, petroleum, colors, DEA’s, sodium laurel sulfate and most common chemicals, but it still has a few ingredients that I’m not completely comfortable with using on my skin everyday. I would recommend this toner over 90% of store-bought ones, I just wish the ingredients were a little cleaner for my personal taste. (I’m picky)

Ingredients:
water (aqua), aloe barbadensis leaf juice, glycerin, glycereth 26, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract, camellia sinensis leaf extract, bisabolol, beta glucan, sodium hyaluronate, allantoin, anhydroxylitol, maltodextrin, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, panthenol, hydroxyethylcellulose, xylitylglucoside, xylitol, phenoxyethanol, benzyl alcohol.

I definitely found great products this month, but If I had to pick just ONE item, my favorite would be The Granola Goat, Amazing Face Serum. My skin feels soft and nourished, just from a few night of use. Ok, that’s impossible, I can’t just pick one item this month. I really loved the Terre Mere makeup brush too and I’m already getting good use out of it. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the products in the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. The items in this month’s box are valued at $64 smackaroos and far exceed the price of the box. Super deal! The products were all great quality and I would recommend this box to anyone that is looking to fill their beauty cabinet with vegan & cruelty-free products.

I’ll be back soon,

Melissa
