A few weeks ago, I did a five-day juice cleanse at home. Yep, I’m a little crazy like that! I feel like my body needed a little boost after all that holiday eating. Too many sweet treats were consumed by me. Oh boy, was this cleanse hard! I did get hungry and a little cranky, but I stuck with it and relaxed as much as possible. I like to have a fresh juice in the morning, to really kick-start my day. My energy feels natural and I don’t get that afternoon crash. Do you guys remember that orange tangy juice, by Sunny D? It was pretty popular when I was a kid and everyone had it in their fridge. Well, I saw it at the market the other day, and I honestly couldn’t believe it was still around and people consume it. It’s pure garbage! I think all kids should be introduced to fresh juice instead of sugar & chemical filled water early on. Ingredients
  • 6 large carrots
  • 3 medium oranges (peeled and deseeded)
  • 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger
Instructions
  1. Run all ingredients through juicer. Drink immediately
Recipe Notes
The nutrients in fresh juice will start to deplete rather fast. It's best to drink it immediately after juicing. If you would like to make extra for later, seal tightly in a jar and place in the fridge.
