Hey guys! Today, I’ll be sharing the goodies from the LaRitzy March 2016 beauty box, and my review of each product. These days, there are so many ways to try out cruelty-free & vegan beauty products, without breaking the bank. Monthly beauty boxes are a great way to do this. LaRitzy is a women’s monthly beauty box subscription, that costs just $24.99 a month. You’ll receive 4-5 full-sized beauty products that are cruelty-free, vegan and can range in value of $60-$100. There is a no-hassle cancellation policy, too. Also, you can subscribe to their LaMini beauty box, which contains 2-3 full-sized beauty products, and costs only $14.99 a month. Sounds like a pretty good deal, huh? Shipping is free to the US and is $5 to Canada
So, let’s check out the goods!
This Lippy Girl gloss is the bomb! I love how soft and luscious it makes my lips. It’s not too thick or sticky, either. It goes on clear and gives my lips the perfect amount of shine. It contains 100% pure ingredients… hence the name, Extra Virgin. There’s nothing harsh in this tube of goodness, just nourishing oils and waxes to make your lips soft and kissable. It contains shea butter, carnauba wax, and essential oils from Tamanu, Orange and Rosehip. Besides being awesomely vegan & non-toxic, it’s also organic. What’s not to love about this gloss! Oh, and I love the light tropical-citrusy scent & flavor. This yummy gloss, is definitely a keeper!
I always love trying out new eye creams. I was so excited to see a Juice Beauty product in the box. I’ve always had a good experience with this brand. I love that they use plant-based & organic ingredients, too. This cream is rich in peptides, DMAE, CoQ10, aloe juice, apple juice, sunflower seed oil, black tea & more. Together, they work hard to fight those pesky lines and keep your skin moisturized.
This eye cream smells delicious and went on nice and smooth. It didn’t irritate my eyes…which happens to me a lot with eye creams. I used this for one week and I definitely feel hydration action happening under my eyes.
Yay, another vegan eyeshadow to add to my collection! I absolutely love the color I received…it has smokey hues of graphite with dark brown undertones, and it has a shimmery finish. It’s nice because it’s buildable, too. So, you can have a subtle look for daytime and sexy, smoldering eyes for night. It comes in a cute little sphere that is perfect for your purse.
This mineral shadow is infused with rose petal, honeysuckle, vitamin E extract and it’s blended with coconut for hydration power. I love the way this shadow felt on my lids. It lasted all day long without creasing or cracking. I’m curious to try out some other colors now.
I don’t polish my nails as much as I used to, because of the toxic chemicals it contains. Polish is never completely non-toxic, so I use it in moderation and it works for me. Deco Miami is free of many of the common carcinogens and they are also vegan. I can appreciate that, and I will use this brand occasionally.
Anyway, I was excited to see such a beautiful spring color in the LaRitzy box. It’s a soft & delicate mint color. It went on creamy and dried smooth. I only used one coat and it was perfect. It wore really well, and started to slightly chip after day four. The color looks so pretty on my nails, and I would definitely wear it again. The bottle is adorable, too!
I hope you enjoyed my review of the LaRitzy beauty box. If I had to pick just ONE item, my favorite would be the gloss from Lippy Girl. It’s something I can use everyday and I love the way it makes my lips feel. All of the products this month, were top-notch and overall, I was very happy with them. This is my second box from LaRitzy and I’m very impressed with everything. They really pay attention to detail and the quality of products that they send out. Can you believe, that this box values at $75, and only costs $24.99? That’s a bargain! This is such a great way to start filling your beauty cabinet with vegan & cruelty-free products.
