O.k, let’s check out the noms…
Simply 7 – Kale Chips
If you are a kale fan, you will love these chips, but If you don’t like the taste of kale, you might want to skip on these. Other than that, the chips are crisp, crunchy and salty. Also, they have just a few clean ingredients, to make them a healthy snack.
Laiki – Black Rice Crackers
If you are looking for a healthier cracker, these are it. They have a few simple ingredients, for guilt-free snacking. They don’t have much flavor, but they have a nice crispy and crunchy texture. They go perfect with a flavorful dip or hummus.
Spiced and Infused – Bombay Seasoning Popcorn
This popcorn is really good, but you have to like lots of flavor and spice. I love it! I’m really into paprika, turmeric and cayenne pepper, so I enjoyed these a lot. So, if you are looking for a heathy and flavorful snack, pick up a bag of these (or maybe two).
Fruigees – 24 Carrot Orange Fruit Snack
Anyone out there remember Tang? It was a tangy, orange-flavored drink. Do they still sell that stuff? I really enjoyed it as a kid, but I had no idea how bad it was for me. The ingredients are horrifying! Well, this juicy pouch kinda tastes like tang, but even better and the ingredients are nothing alike. My son really loved it, too and asked me to buy more.
Tasty Brand – Vanilla Cupcake Sandwich Cookies
OMG! These are my absolute favorite! The name of these cookies, really describe what they taste like. They even smell like vanilla cupcakes. They are vegan, organic and just down right heavenly. I do make my own treats at home, but I will be buying these from time to time.
Next Organics – Dried Coconut
I’m a big fan of dried coconut chips, so I was happy to see these included in the snack box. These were a bit heartier, than most coconut chips and I kinda liked that. There’s nothing added and they are 100% organic. I would definitely buy these again.
Love Grown – Chocolate Power O’s
Om my yum! These remind me of a healthier and yummier version of Cocoa Puffs. Do you remember being cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs? They were so good, but another horrifying list of ingredients. These Chocolate Power O’s, make me feel like a kid again and these ingredients are completely safe to consume. We don’t eat a lot of packaged breakfast cereals, but I would buy these occasionally to enjoy. These O’s are great, because they are made out of beans, lentils and brown rice. They are healthy and crazy good!
Pacific Foods – Italian Herb Seitan
If you are already vegan, then you know what seitan is and you either love it, or you hate it. Seitan is a high-protein wheat meat. I love it, but I don’t eat it often, because I prefer minimally processed foods. However, I do enjoy it from time-to-time and I will be using this one from Pacific Foods. I really loved the flavor of the Italian Herb and I made a fabulous “meat” sauce with it.
Guru – Organic Energy Drink
I’m not much of an energy drink kinda gal, but I still enjoyed this beverage. I definitely got some energy but it was a clean energy. No jitters at all. It’s made with guarana, echinacea flower and ginseng. I will definitely keep a few of these in my pantry, for when I need some quick energy.
Kunachia – Chia Shot
This is a 1-serving size pouch of chia seeds and they are sold in a box of 30. It’s more of a travel pouch, I guess. I’m all about chia seeds, so I definitely will use these babies. However, I don’t really need the single-serving pouches, so I would just purchase their bigger size. Seems like a better value, too.
I hope you enjoyed my review of the Vegan Cuts Snack Box. I was thoroughly satisfied with this month’s snackin’ delights and so was my tummy. It had a great variety of noms for serious snackers, like myself.
