Hey guys, It’s time to reveal what’s inside the April Vegan Cuts Beauty Box and I’m so excited to share this with you. This is my very first Vegan Cuts Box delivery and I’m so happy to finally try them out. It was worth the wait, because this box was filled with lots of luxurious beauty products. It did not disappoint! Lots of full-sized goodies.
If you haven’t heard of this subscription before, it’s a monthly vegan beauty box that contains 4-7 full-size and sample size products. The products range from stellar skincare, cosmetics to fragrances and more. The Vegan Cuts team tests out every single product before it reaches you, to make sure everything is top-notch. Pretty cool, huh?
These days, there are so many ways to try out cruelty-free beauty products, without breaking the bank. Monthly beauty boxes are a great way to do this.
O.k, let’s check out the goodies…
I don’t wear polish much these days, but I loved the color of this one, so I gave it a go. The color is described as Cosmo Pink, but I feel like it’s more mauve. It looks fabulous on my digits! It went on creamy and dried with a lustrous finish. I was able to get away with just one coat and it held up nicely. It started to slightly chip after day four and I’m not gentle with my nails.
Joshik Nail Polish is cruelty-free, vegan, 5-free and is made in the USA. It’s fast drying, durable and luxurious. Also, it’s affordable, so you can have a quality polish in many colors. This is a keeper!
I’m a big fan of facial serums. I just love the extra hydration and nourishment that they offer my skin. This serum caught my eye right away, because it’s 100% organic. The ingredients are pure and made with avocado oil, virgin coconut oil and rosehip oil. That’s it, just three natural ingredients to revitalize and protect the skin. It’s rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids that help rejuvenate the skin.
This lovely little concoction of oils absorbed nicely into my skin, and It didn’t feel heavy or greasy. It doesn’t have much of a scent at all, just a subtle nutty smell. I used it twice a day, right after washing my face and then I follow up with my regular moisturizer. It really makes my skin feel soft and silky. My face didn’t react at all and it is perfect for my sensitive skin. I love the hydration action going on here!
Yay! A bee-free lip balm! I love keeping my lips moisturized with a balm, (I’m a little addicted) but so many contain beeswax. It’s just not a necessary ingredient to keep lips hydrated and soft. I’m so glad this balm was included in this month’s box.
I totally love the way this makes my lips feel! It’s not too thick and it goes on smooth. My lips love the rich moisture it provides. I love the minty fresh tingle that it leaves behind, too. My smackers are ready for smooching! I would definitely buy this balm again.

I live in the desert, so my hair will get dry if I don’t protect it. I also live in an area where we have hard water, so my hair can be out of control and frizzy. Fun stuff, huh? So, I was happy to see a hair repair in the beauty box.
This hair repair has a powerful blend of nutrient-rich Argan Oil, from Morocco, fortifying Hemp Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, and Panthenol, which seals and repairs split ends, while preventing future damage. Ends will naturally look and feel thicker with long lasting frizz and static control.
This hair repair has a creamy texture and a beautiful scent. Kind of floraly and woody mixed together. It definitely tamed my frizzies and seemed to help my split ends (I don’t have too many). My hair was silkier for sure. I used a little bit while my hair was wet, before I blew it out. My hair looked extra bouncy, too. I loved that! This product is missing many common toxic ingredients, but it’s still not as natural as I would like. Other than that, I think it works well and does what it claims to do.
Finding a natural sunscreen that doesn’t make you pasty white, is a difficult task. I’ve tried so many and I’ve only found a handful that I like. I was curious when I saw this sunscreen in the box and I figured it would be the same as most others, but it went on nice & sheer. It does look white at first, but just use a small amount and blend it in well. My face didn’t feel greasy and it didn’t make my skin red (I have had that happen with sunscreen before). It has an SPF of 30 and it is water resistant up to 40 minutes. It has a nice light scent of lavender which I really like. Also, it helps keep your skin moisturized and soft. It went really well under my makeup, too. Score!
This sunscreen contains invisible zinc oxide and it’s Non-Nano, Reef Safe, Non-GMO, Biodegradable, Vegan, Cruelty Free, Alcohol Free, Paraben Free, Phthalate Free, and Gluten-Free. It’s loaded with nourishing antioxidants with anti-aging ingredients including coconut oil, green tea, and immortelle. It’s lightly scented with lavender essential oils.
I love anything fizzy, foamy and relaxing for my bath! I take my bubbly time very seriously! So, of course I was happy to get this delicious smelling bath bomb in this month’s box. I waited a few days before I used it and it made my bathroom smell heavenly.
This little bath bomb is loaded with skin-softening baking soda and moisturizing oils of sweet almond and jojoba. SO, while you’re soaking the day away, your skin will be benefiting too. Good deal!
It has an invigorating scent, somewhat floraly and citrusy. I really enjoyed it. So, I ran my bath and dropped this little sucker in and voilà, I was transported to a day at the spa! My skin felt silky smooth after and I had a nice sleep, too. I’m curious about their other scents now.
I already have a favorite natural deodorant, but I’m always curious to try out new ones. It’s so hard to find one that is natural and actually works. This sample-size was enough for me to get an idea, if it’s right for me. Honestly, it did work well and my puts stayed stink-free all day, but I wasn’t to thrilled with the scent. I received the Lucy in the Sky scent. Bummer, I wish I liked the smell. I would definitely try out their other scents though and give it another try.
Each jar of Routine is ethically crafted & handmade in Calgary, Canada by sisters Neige and Pippa. It has über pure ingredients and it doesn’t contain aluminum, zirconium, aluminum chlorohydrate, parabens, triclosan, or propylene glycol. Check out the ingredients here.
*Not all of their scents are vegan, so make sure to look for that, before you purchase. Hopefully, they will switch all of their scents to vegan. Wouldn’t that be perfect?
I hope you enjoyed my first review of the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. If you’re not much into beauty products, they do have a Vegan Cuts Snack box, too. YUMMY, I can’t wait to get my hands on that! I definitely found great products this month, but If I had to pick just ONE item, my favorite would be the Cocokind Facial Serum. I’m addicted to hydration and this made my skin happy. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the products in the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. The products were all top-notch and I would recommend this box to anyone that is looking to fill their beauty cabinet with vegan & cruelty-free products.
I’ll be back soon,
